Machan, honestly I wouldn't worry about it or feel upset about it.
The G10 movement is not repairable and its factory sealed. But that doesn't mean you cannot replace the movement if it goes bad. I had three watches in the past with the same movement (PRS 516, Quickster and Calvin Klein Completion). Only the Quickster started giving trouble - that too with the chrono function. Chrono would go out of sync frequently. I sold them all off because I decided to move away from low-end Tissots.
If the movement starts giving trouble, you can always replace it. Replacement movements cost around $100 from a reputed retailer. Few years ago, Swatch Group stopped supplying parts for non-ADs but ADs themselves sell movements on the grey.
The ones around $50 price range are Chinese clones with ETA markings on them (some are unsigned). The movement is sealed so there's no way to know if its genuine or a clone. I don't know about the durability of Chinese clones but I don't think they are too bad.
Vostok Europe has nothing to do with old Vostok. They are a company based in Lithuania. They use Hattori and Epson movements to build their watches. All of their watches are "limited editions"
I hear that their product quality is very good. But they are overpriced.
I found a few old Russian watches with a watch repair guy in Bamba around 7 years ago. There were few Vostoks and Poljots. Bought them but sold them later when I lost interest in Russians. I still have one of them - a Vostok Amfibia Scuba dude in a drawer somewhere back in my home in SL.

That`s awesome! The orange theme goes well with that watch. The green is great too, caged bezel is quite un-common.
I had zero knowledge of Russian watches, though I've read about caged bezels somewhere.

It's a sealed (up to some level) movement, it can be dissembled & repaired, though. it's supposed to dissemble from top (from dial) to inside, but...Yes..It's difficult. Mots of the wheels are in Plastic ! but can be replaced with similar parts from the same model.

If the function of the watch is exactly the same, for example, only display time via 3 hands, there`s not much difference in the basic mechanism between branded and cheap watches. The movement may look nicer (better finishing, different materials, polished surfaces etc..) in a high end watch, but the basic number of parts will be similar.
However, there are things like : using double barrels for higher power reserve, complications used to achieve magnetic resistance, things used for higher accuracy (i.e. Omega co-axial escapement) etc.. which may complicate the movement in a high-end watch, even though the function of the watch is the same.
Then there are additional functionality which may complicate a movement with more parts (again, if the functionality is there, even a cheap watch will have a complicated mechanism) :
* Chronograph / stopwatch
* GMT (dual time) function
* Day/Date Display (moon phase + perpetual calendar display mechanisms are extremely complicated)
* Additional dials to display power reserve etc..
