Well the job puts food on your table, it's the second most important thing in your life after your family.
Unless it's a shitty company (in which case you should leave the company) you should always do your best, that's how you get better at what you do and nobody wants people that are not passionate about their jobs. You are going to end up wasting everybody's time.
Well you got to learn to draw the line somewhere.

Also there is no place called "good companies, good cultures etc". It is just shit brought make people feel guilty and oblidged to work their asses off regardless of what they pay.

But I think best way not to get disappointed is to treat a job as a job and not part of your life.

Also my moto is "The company needs me more than I need the company"

    Agree,

In my case, if you have a brown skin, you have already lost more than 50% of benefits. They don't care how qualified or not. Company thinks they can replace anyone. Even though they don't give me a good raise they do not think twice to paid a large sum for a SUDDA and ask to do whatever I am doing.

HR resists increments for SL people. When it is a SUDDA they don't care. Fucking idiots!

Anika company walata aluthen ena unwa nalawana scene ekak thiyenawada ban?

In SL resources are scarce, because of that lankawe un wandagena inne.
overseas foreigners (not indians) don't give a shit about who leaves. try resigning in SL vs abroad. lankawe un ahanne, inna berida? keeyak onada bla bla bla

Also in SL salary is based on what you want and not what you deserve. For instance umbey job ekata standard 100k nam but if you are only asking 50k they will give you 50K.
Oka nisa tama salary confidential scene eka sarata yanne.

In here, if you ask 50K they start bargaining from 25K.
