CEB tendering mega watt scale solar power plants and its very hard to win the bids. Why this is happen?

not talking about mega projects, of course solar is future. but for consumers its not worth it as of now. i calculated for 5KW ongrid system which is around 550,000 with all components, but greedy companies quoting around 1.2-1.5M. only thing is we cant get CEB approval (to my knowledge) application must go through a registered mafia company. current solar summer market is a mafia. no govt support (to import quality solar panels and batteries), so its a worthless investment.

Can you please share the calculation with me? Solar companies profit will grastically increase if your calculation is correct.

i would, but we cant get approval from CEB without going through a solar company. you should know this.
few years back myself and a friend installed around 4.2KW ongrid system and connected to grid with no hassles. things changed now. im not a solar businessman nor looking to start one, so no point of me registering a company for just one system. i would never pay for anything that is not justifiable. just do a market research and see how much it costs for 5KW system. 500-550W solar panels came down to 30-35K(jinko or JA) inverters to 100-200k. this is just the retail price, company price/bulk price even lower.

Inverter + Solar panels are not the only two component in a Solar energy system. Thats why you get a less calculation. The cost will increase 800,000 even if you using cheapest materials and accessories.
