Well, I guess they have already proved it by practicing it. If we want to become a developed country, we should get rid of corruption. That's how Lee Kwan Yew built the Singapore. Their anti-corruption framework relies on a strong culture of public accountability underpinned by an elaborate set of checks and balances, the rule of law which includes strong and effective laws, a legislative that openly debates issues on defense and security, and an independent judiciary! If so, the leader or the ruling party should set an example for the public.

Never heard of any corruption case against NPP(JVP) political leaders except for baseless allegations.
