I agree, it's much harder for the US to win this war strategically. They will win most of the battles and lose far fewer people, but they will likely abandon the war and go back after some time. And they will decimate Iran in the process. I was just commenting about the attitude of the people here.

My guess, That is why iran keep poking everyone to drag this on to a ground war.
