I don't read political bash unless there's some substance. Anyway, my question is simple. Why's the government silent about it? Why do they deny saying so? Because the ultimate result should be the getting back of that money. A people's government like this, a government which came to power with the promise of recovering looted money and punishing the culprits, is silent and in denial. Why?

OP brah if you can briefly compare the economic policies of the two governments, your thread will make more sense..

IMHO regardless of who comes to power, the economic policies are same as we are heavily governed by the IMF as it's a small GDP..

Interestingly SL and Serbia's GDP supposed to be same but living standards supposed to be different cuz of population gap between the 2 countries..

For such small GDP and less reserves a catastrophy like COVID could be a lot to bear..

Also SL took lots of loans and we know the rest of the story..

SL's reserves are measured in billions but Aus measure them in trillions and Aus is the only country in the southern hemisphere to have a high GDP..

All these point out to a familiar story that SL's living standards won't change drastically..

Only thing we should hope for is economic stability via a stable government.. - another riot would be just too much to bear..
