Why do I feel many movies are dark and violent ?

If I watch about 10 Western movies (mostly American), they all have dark themes, violent scenes... I hate this stuff. I watched 4 episodes of the Gotham TV series, and it was terrible. It was rated TV-14, but I saw a lot of bad stuff. Also, the color grading is awful.

I mean, when I watch a historical K-drama, it isn't darrk, it stays on point. Even when there are violent fight scenes, they aren't psychological. I feel like America has so many serial killers because of this stuff.

Watch Korean, they have Zombies
Watch Lankan Movies, they have terrible comedies
It all depends about the country.
If its Western they are heavily motivating to use guns, bombs etc that's their market, economy
If its Korean, they are heavily showcasing zombies
And in Sri Lanka, as you know all are jokers, only 1% knows how to think and work. All others are jokers, from that 6.8 millions have voted for the idiots and jokers.

You haven’t seen mouse and strangers from hell, and memories of a murderer… uba Mewa baluwa nam Hollywood hodai kiyanawa…me korean movies henama violent and dark.
