no need to take much troubles on it then. but just to let you know that people first read the verse or poem and then read the other comments. now i wont ask you what drove you to tell something like that people read your coment and then the peom.
i read it alright ..i think i told you already that i talked with the poet here and he told me the meaning. if you are trying to say anything for which im not responding pls feel free to make it a bit more specific cos i might not be reading you thoroughly.

i dont know about you or the rest but when a poem makes no sense to me, in order to get an idea, i usually read other comments...so they do inspire my opinion. so if i posted the real meaning, in my point of view, it would ruin the pleause in interpreting for somebody else..the way i see it.
chintha, we all like to know what you tried to xpress from it as the author of it. am not into kavi or nisadas that much, may be am poor at that.
what i undertood is as it written on affection and waiting for the love.

look ..an opinion is something a reader like myself have about a poem..which is not necessarily the real meaning. .i can be influenced from it ..supported by it.
and a fact would be, if i posted the meaning here which i know is real....it's like helping somebody decipher a puzzle and just giving him the answer..get it? if i didn't know the meaning in the first place if i had just an idea i would have posted it. which would be my contribution to the actual meaning.
Well when you read it from surface you'll see that meaning in it. Rather than giving the meaning I'll give you a clue.
"මුව තුඩග" is not lips. It's a totally different thing
i told you am not good at it, so i don't see the beauty of the wordings of it.

and it is, of course, assuming that poem is not as straight forward as a simple sentence..
