    wats is dis lang now..??
    Enhala??

    me sure abt wat?

Please don't think I'm insulting but the language you use is not exactly English, is it? It's a 'new' English used by those who send a lot of text messages. Some people like to use it but people like me, usually skip such messages; Reading passages in Sinhala written in English is better than that but it's still difficult for me.

Personally, I prefer to read English in English, complete words rather than shorten forms, and Sinhala messages in beautiful Sinhala letters.:)

But R, this is a Sri Lankan community. I think for the majority, expressing their views in Sinhala is easier than using English. And the majority of us can read Sinhala. Those who studied abroad may not be able to read Sinhala letters but surely if those who spent all their lives in Sri Lanka, say they cannot read their mother tongue, I think that's a shame.

Much more readable, sis.;) I don't blame you-I know it's easier for some people who count every letter they type in text messages. I belong in an older generation.
