may be they must set some method so that only students can leave the country for studies and and not letting our ppl to be there for more dan 4-5 years..![]()
There is another side to this story, Sri lank should have more investments on businesses. more business means more new jobs generated. See the problems student who graduate from Sri Lankan Universities face, even tho they have the knowledge there are no job. Investments are needed to create these job opportunities. and the politicco should not give job posts based on relationships, the job post should go to the right candidate with right qualifications. the reason for the education system brake down in Sri lanka is there are people that who should not be in those educations institutions high ranking seats. ,where the things are governed.
If there are good job opportunities in Sri Lanka, and if the Government and private sector propose jobs for students including the people who left the country, we can eradicate the knowledge migration. SO I belive investments are needed to the Sri lankan Economy, also pople should come up with new business ideas.

Making Student Migrate to Other Countries is in a way bad for the Sri Lankan Economy, ( Ok I know ppl have the right to study at any place they like, but what i am talking here is is just a side effect of migration) because when Sri Lankan Students Migrate the money of Country goes to those migrated countries, Eg. When I was studying in UK the course fees was 8000 pounds per year that’s in SL rupees is Rs. 1,760,000, if the family is sponsoring for the student, that amount of money goes to the other country, on top of that all the living expenses (most of the student cover this by working part time ) and this huge sum is just only for one year, mind that normal to complete a degree it takes minimum 3 years, Imagine the number of student studying abroad. If there is a good demanding education system in Sri Lanka all those money can be retained inside Sri Lanka.
nw they've started private uni's in SL.. i guess that would b a good solution
