තහනම් ගහේ ගෙඩි රහයි... නමුත් කෑවා වගේ නෙවෙයි විදවන එක තමයි අමාරු. අපි පෘතග්ජනයොනේ.. රහත් වෙලා නැහැනේ.

තවත් සාර්ථක නිර්මාණයක් සහෝදරී.

ඇත්තටම මේක තහනම් ගහේ ගෙඩි කෑමක් නෙමේ. ආදම් කියන්නේ ඒවගේ පුරුෂයා....ඒවාට පරපුරක අවශ්‍යතාවය දැනිලා තියෙනවා...ඇයට ඔහුගෙන් දරුවෙකුත් ඕනේ.....
ඇයට අවශ්‍යයි ඔහුව......සංතර්පයේ සතුට වගේම පරපුරකුත්....

this poem is definitely about sex...at least some morally depraved unhealthy physical relationship between two ppl..which is considered by society, religion even by themselves a terrible sin..but they seemingly with pleasure indulge in that ..i see no love in this one

which derived the poem to my own conclusion that is, the girl is only seeking comfort in sex ..she feels already doomed ..but after this whats left pure will be gone ..but this new experience will give her a new life which i think what she meant by "upatha" ..ppl in many literature creations indulge in sex as to a way of comforting themselves..some momentarily peace when they are worlds are kissing the depths of utter misery.

satan has to represent the darkness of this business while adam and eva would be representing nakedness of the souls that would later be exposed to shame

i love the above idea ..but dunno if thats what you meant ..i just got a sick mind lol

ive got another interpretation which was inspired by all the catholic symbolism she had used....that this is about giving birth to the "antichrist" but i don't think thats what she meant eventhough that would most definitely fit in too...

ps; you might have meant something utterly different from all the things i said above but within these words i grasped something that was sooooooo pretty and interesting ..that got me thinking and ..well i formed those above interpretations...really thank you very much for the poem ..definitely one of most interesting piece i read in ek
