Hotel where Ranil - Fonseka are staying surrounded by Army


(Lanka-e-News, Jan.27, 2010, 9.10AM) The Hotel ‘Cinnamon Lake’ where Presidential candidate Gen. Sarath Fonseka, Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and other party leaders are staying has been surrounded by about 300 soldiers at the moment, according to an Opposition front - liner who is in the Hotel, told Lanka e new.

The soldiers are also engaged in rigorous checking of vehicles moving in and out of the Hotel.


Reports reaching Lanka e news say that this posse of soldiers have come to the Hotel not at the request of the Opposition front-liners in the Hotel.

laugh all you want celebrate all you want...but you'll only realize what you got in to in a couple of years....SF paradai...bahuthara kamaththa or democracy...only thng we can hope for is MR will change the direction to lead us to a better future...we'll have to give him a chance...but I'm not holding my breath and will keep supporting SF.
