Yes, You are 100% correct.I've never had a problem with SLT for the last 3 years in two locations. There are lots of factors for your speeds to be slow. For example if you are downloading a torrent if the speed is slow its not a SLT problem but lack of Seeds of the torrent. If you use a download manager for file download then you get most often the max speed of your line. That too depends on the server you are downloading, if the server lets you do municipal download and also resume support you are ok. Sites like RAPIDSHARE doesn't support multiple download if you don't have a account with them, hence the speed is slow. As you see there are a lot of factors for slow download, and its not a SLT problem.
I don't work for SLT. I've done research on this subject because I too thought that SLT was playing me out, but found out it wasn't a SLT problem but common to all ISP's.
