මොනව කියවන්නද, IJTS එකේ උන් බොරු කරනව ඇති. ඒක මට වැඩක් නැහැ. ඒ උනාට දැන් exam එකේ නම SCJP නෙමෙය්. කොටින්ම කිව්වොත් දැන් exam එකෙන් Serialization, wait(), notify() වගේ ඒවත් අය්න් කරල තියෙන්නෙ වෙනස් කරල තියෙන්නෙ. Java ගැන කතා කලාට ජීවිතේට coderanch එකටවත් ගිහින් නැති එකෙක්ද කොහෙද.

IMHO the bugger has done an excellent job. Suggest you to read the whole thing, but be warned, it takes a hell of a lot of time.

Java Exam(OCJP) eka goda daanna nan oya ona institute ekakata giyata kamak nehe. Java practically implement karala GUI application ekak hadanna one nam IJTS hondai(their Panadura branch has good rep). Anith institutes wala practical program ekak thiyenawada kiyala danne ne.

doing a certification like OCJP is a good thing, employers respect that

having a degree & a certification makes the candidate (java programmer etc.) more marketable to employers

JAVA education is now widely available in SL

with classes + online resources anybody can pass the exam

they just need to put in the hours

It is non of my concern. I just commented on the false statement he made about the certification program. Its been more than one year since Oracle acquired Sun microsystems. It is no longer called SCJP. I dont care about him or his rivalry with IJTS. He needs to get his facts straight.

In fact majority of people who follow such courses do not take the exam, and passing the exam is not as easy as some people think. So the number of students who get certified is very few. Yes but java is overhyped
