    thanks! btw a friend diagnosed the black stuff as a graphite based thermal pad. Cheap stuff not usually found for sale but comes with some (cheap ;) ) heat sink fan assemblies and supposed to be not so good :eek:. So anyway I will have to clean it up and apply proper thermal compound.

Most telecos will not give owners name and address to other people. But if police ask for investigation...
