ASE position එක ගැන උඹලා මොකක්ද හිතන්නේ.ඒක ලංකාවේ විතරක් නෙමෙයි specially Third World Countries වල අඩු පඩියට වැඩ ගැනීමට හදාගත්තු දෙයක්. ඒ හින්දා ඒ වගේ Position එකට ගියොත් එක්කෝ Career Life එක අවුල් යනවා නැත්නම් වැඩ බැරි ලේබල් එකක් වදිනවා. ඇත්තටම වැඩ බැරි එකෙක් නම් ඔය Position එකට ගියාට අවුලක් නෑ. නැතුව ASE යන එක පාඩුවක් කියලයි මට හිතෙන්නේ. Machan normally you don't get people who are actually good at what they do working as ASE or working as ASEs for a long time. When I see people who are whining about this shit, All I can think about is people who didn't put effort in their academic carriers and who are now whining and demanding higher paid jobs.
As I know if you are from a reputed uni with good grades you never endup at ASE.

Remember you need to start from somewhere. But whether you will keep sitting there or moving up is your choice and is totally up to you.

In my experience ASE is there to recruit a person at a higher level than intern (specially if they have already worked as intern) before the degree ends. Most private universities offer part time after 2nd year so people can get employed. Some companies have policies that a completed degree is required for SE. So ASE is a temporary position until they complete it.
No need to go as ASE if you have already completed the degree.

ලංකාවේ තනිකරම කරන්නේ misuse කිරීමක්. ASE position නැති Reputed companies තියනවා අතලොස්සක්. අනිත් ඔක්කොම වගේ ඒවායේ ASE Position තියන් ඉන්නේ අඩු පඩියට වැඩ ගන්න. ගොඩක් ඒවායේ duration එක at least 1 or 1.5 years.

I applied for SE and got selected. But I asked below average for the position (I didn;t know industry default salaries) . So they hired me as an ASE.
