"this also explains why God is All mighty within this reality.."
God is the creator of logic, time and space..he can do anything... without time there wont even be reasoning
"considering the spitefulness and disrespect of some threads, I may have to conclude that Buddhism is less effective..."
yes it is a subjective view.. that s why I specifically said "considering this thread"
"How can you make a judgement on what changes are done in life by this argument on others based on your subjective view???"
don't we all depend on our subjective views? wasn't Buddhism itself a subjective view of Buddha and yet people depend on it?? cannot a subjective view be an objective view?
"there is a universal law that abides in absoluteness.. I agree. This is a very basic concept in Buddhism as well. But how do you relate this to existance of GOD? "
The existence of a universal law also implies it being set by someone.. or being in someone in terms of absoluteness
"Numbers are not a concept.. quantization is the base of creation.. even if you don't assign numbers to them and count them.. they exist.."
I didn't mean numbers in literal.. I meant quantization.. the existence of small units.. which is true if we count them or not.. we can use the concept of literal numbers to evaluate quantization..
"I cannot agree with you here. In my opinion Buddhism does not have a place for faith. Buddha only invites to explore his teachings based on logic, not faith. One should follow the path if he sees logically it is useful to do so. Once he follows, if he sees positive changes he will continue to follow. Should not misunderstand the word "Shraddha" for faith. It is my understanding that "shraddha" comes to buddhist mind with the realisation, or proof(Explained very clearly by Walpola Rahula, in his book "What Buddha, taught").
People can believe in Nirvana, but what people believe in is not a reflection on Buddhism. One might choose to believe in something by a teacher, based on respect, experience or logical sense of other things the teacher taught, but it does not say that the teachings say you should believe."
logic is also a form of faith, one believes that rationality has s solution.. Nirvana is a vision that one should believe to find at the end of a logical journey.. correct me if I am wrong.. if Nirvana is a defined logical consequence, then I may drop Buddhism the claims of being a faith.. but it s clearly an anticipation and a vision that one hopes in..
"So maybe you should abstain from making naive conjectures without knowing the subject properly"
You go through the forum history and check for yourself who had been making naive conjectures.. and it certainly wasn't meant for you because you are a person of understanding and speak objectively.. so do be fair on the judgement of my statement...
Thank you
