the British did that way back. similar to the small gauge line that went all the way to Nuwara Eliya.

Not every bad thing was done by our guys..

Ah that I am not sure. But, yes udupussellawa railway line was removed by the british people. That was such a scenic railway line.

dont need to go all the way to opanayake, if you go to Ehaliyagoda, the bypass road that avoids the town is the old railway itself. If memory serves, the old station building is still there as well.
I think some of the old track and the old water tank is still there at Avissawella station as well..

මේ නූල දාපු එක වටිනවා මොකද මේවා ගැන දන්න අයට වඩා නොදන්නා අය වැඩියි. අනික් එක පුළුවන් නම් අදාල තැන්වලට කියන්න ඕනේ මේවා පුළුවන් නම් ආපහු හදන්න කියලා.අපේ රටේ ප්‍රවාහන සේවයේ තියෙන ලොකුම අඩුපාඩුවක් තමයි අඩුම ගානේ හදලා තියෙන දුම්රිය මාර්ග ටිකවත් නඩත්තු කරගන්න බැරි එක.පාරෙන් යනවට වඩා කොච්චර ලබාද දුම්රියෙන් බඩු ප්‍රවාහනය කරන එක ?මම නම් ළගදි ඔය පැත්තට ගිහිල්ලා නෑ හැබැයි ඉස්සර නම් ඔය පැති පට්ටම ලස්සනයි. ඔය කෝච්චි ට්‍රිප් එක නැරබුම් මැදිරියක් එක්ක වගේ දැම්ම නම් දෙස් විදෙස් සංචාරකයොන්ගෙන් හොඳ අදායමක් ගන්න පුළුවන්.බස්වල පරිප්පු කාගෙන යනවට වඩා කොච්චර ෂෝක්ද ?
