once we received the launcher, during the inspection at air port, our forces recognized that some of the wire were cut off.. we didn't know where it happend.. since the operation was a secret to most of the countries and india, forces came to a decision this was done after landing in BIA. because news started to fly after launchers landed on BIA ground.. then only people knew... forces were in great stress that if we sent back them that will take months to repair and sent back.. and that was the first set of (2 or 3) launchers touches our soil.. others were on the way... if we sent them back rest of the world will know the news... and that delay was so enough LTTE to capture jaffna and palali... think about it.. nearly 40000 soldiers... 2 launcher's fire power was more than enough to sent tigers back to their den...

when we were middle of all these mess... amith came ... some says he fixed the problem with in hours.. immediately launchers were sent to palai.. and you all know rest of the story...

one thing about amith... as it says he was geek.... he is mad about wild life.. he had defender/land rover... cant remember it.. he repair it himself... he can remove it up to last nut and fix it back to working condition
