Eating a lot of carbohydrates and sugar is the reason for this. Now is the best time to realise that the religious and pseudo-religious agendas that are being pushed by religious and pseudo-religious groups are the root cause of this issue. Simply put, we Sri Lankans do not consume any protein in our diet. Because of these agendas, the only sources of protein that we consume are plant-based foods, which also contain a significant amount of carbohydrates and sugar. Therefore, there is no other option but to consume those sources of protein that are derived from meat consumption, which the individuals who have the agenda have blocked.
