When you are buying a genuine watch, always buy from a watchmaking company - Seiko, Citizen, Tissot, Casio, Rado, Tag Heuer, Calvin Klein (made by Tissot), Mont Blanc (same as Omega), Bulova, Kobold, Omega etc.

Never buy from a designer brand or a non-watchmaking company brand. They are all Chinese machines in fancy cases. Examples: Puma, Nike, Swiss Military Hanowa, Emporio Armani, Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton etc.

Visit Bangkok or Vietnam... You get fakes for any quality of any brand depending on how much you pay. They look really like the original.
My son bought a Breitling Navitimer 43 for just a little over 100$. When I told him it's fake, he told me the original is about $ 10K and of course it's bloody fake.
