ලංකාවෙ ඉඳන් අවුරුද්දක tourist visa වලට(visiting family) ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාවට යන කෙනෙක්ට one-way ටිකට් එකක් අරන් ගියොත් ෆ්ලයිට් එකට බෝඩ් වෙන්න දෙන්නෙ නැද්ද? අත්දැකීම් තියෙන අය ඉන්නවද?

If they want to change the dates, just ask them to either purchase a flex fare (date change allowed) or they can change the dates after paying a change fee. අර මම කිව්ව ගෲප් වලට ජොයින් වෙලා අහපන්..හරිම උත්තරයක් හම්බවෙයි..නැත්තම් චේන්ජ් කරන්න පුලුවන් විදියට ටිකට් එකක් දාගෙන පලයන් ඉවරනේ...
සාමාන්‍යයෙන් බන් විසිට් වීසා වලදි රිටන් ටිකට් ඕනි..ඒක වීසා එක මත සහ රටින් රටට වෙනස් වෙනවා..

ඔය ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාවට මාත් විසිට් වීසා ඇප්ලයි කරලා රිජෙක්ට් උනා..මම දැන් මාස තුනකට කලින් ජර්මනිය ඉතාලිය වගේ ඔක්කොම යුරෝපීය රටවල් වල ඇවිදලා ආවා..දැන් මට ශෙනගන් මල්ටිපල් වීසා තියනවා..පට්ටම ට්‍රැවල් හිස්ට්‍රියක් තියනවා..කිසිම ඩොකියුමන්ට් එකක් අඩුපාඩු නැතුව තියද්දී ඕක රිජෙක්ට් වෙනවා දැන් ..මම දන්න ඇමරිකන් වීසා තියන එකෙකුටත් ඕක රිජෙක්ට් වෙලා..ආයෙනම් මලාට ඉල්ලන්නේ නෑ ඔය රටට වීසා..ඔෆිසරයට කියන්න දේකුත් නෑ..ඌ ලියලා ඔයාගේ ට්‍රැවල් හිස්ට්‍රිය හොදයි ඔක්කොම හොදයි..ඒ උනාට වීසා දෙන්න බෑ කියලා...යකෝ ඇමරිකන් වීසත් තියනවනම් ඔය ලබ්බේ රටට ගිහින් පනිනවද..???

Just call the airline itself... They are the ones who will not allow you to board. (Not any travel agent). AFAIK the only instance they allow you to board with a one-way ticket is if you have PR/Citizenship.
Having a multiple reentry visa is not a valid criteria. My son had a full 10 year unlimited multiple entry visa to the US on his SriLankan passport. The passport was issued to him when he was 8 years old and he had that visa till he became 18 years old. The visa simply stated valid for the lifetime of the passport.

Immigration will never ask. The issue can only arise at the airline check-in counter. Because the responsibility lies on the airline if for some reason you are refused entry. That's their only worry. When you disembark nobody asks you to show the return ticket.

Hmm, a bit strange, what if someone wants to have 1 yr or less visit in Australia and then goes to another country directly from there (NZ), In that case, does that person still required to produce a return ticket?
