මේ වගේ සතෙක් මරනවා කියන්නේ කොච්ච්ර පව් ද බන්..බලපන් මේ කාලකන්නි ගැහැණු, මිනිස්සු හිනා වෙවී ඉන්න හැටි මේ සතා මරල? මෙචර දෙයක් තියෙද්දිත් උබට අහන්න ඔලුවට ආවේ මේ ප්රශ්නෙද?
No brother, It's not the animal which is being killed. But how the people around it are celebrating it..It doesn't matter if it's a chicken or a cow. But as human beings, we can't laugh and enjoy when an animal is suffering in pain and dying. I get your point...It may be true..but it's not an acceptable behavior..that's my point
it's just that i cant understand your logic , it's ok when you kill a a pig for meat but when you kill a cow it's the ultimate sin all of a sudden

again, it's their culture, they feel that animal which is being slaughtered is enjoying it as much as they do..not only that, they feel that they are doing the animal a favor buy releasing it from its fleshy prison for greater good.

anyway, religions, all of them, including buddhism, are a form of insanity as per rational thinking, so killing for religions is clearly crazy

I don't understand how a religion is insane
However, my point here is not based on any religion. I'm just talking from the point of view as a human being. I don't know what every religion teach, but as another living being, I feel that one cannot enjoy looking how another animal suffer in pain and especially, dying.
And I don't think even a butcher enjoys killing an animal..He only does his job, that's to kill and prepare meat. But here in this case it's totally different. It doesn't look like these people kill this animal for meat
does a farmer not enjoy when he sees his crop all nice and ready for harvesting ?
and don't they eat it and sell it afterwards ?

they see a fat motherfucker kill it and eat it , it's all a celebration for them. you can't say it's right or wrong cz they and you look at it from different viewpoints.

there is no justification as to who is right or who is wrong cz you two are in different beliefs
