Taking both of these answers to be correct is not sacrilegious at all (edit: rather, any one of these answers is no more true than the other).

The order of operations functions merely on a conventional basis. However, the quality of consistency of mathematics you’ve mentioned follows from axioms and systemic constraints. Two different hierarchical importance.

Any permutation of වන්බෙගුදරි is allowed as long as you are willing stick to it at all times.
