Ita passey lamaya loku weddi, podi eka expect karanney anith parentsla wagey ubath utath wiyadam karanawata. Ugey yaluwo sports,dancing wagey dewal walata wenama classes yaddi eh widiyata ubatath wiyadam karanna wenawa. Oya uba kiyapu school walata yana ewun wenama social classes wala ewun. Eh widiyata apita wiyadam karanna amarui ubath eh social class ekey nemei nam.
Ita passey hondama dey A/L iwara wunata passey lamayata lanakwey campus yanna baa.

Man kiyanney ita wada hondai, lamayawa honda government school ekakata daala oya salli tika lamayegey bank account ekaka daala passey A/L iwara wunama uwa eh salli walin rata yawanna kiyala. Ubata unlimited salli thiyenawa nam ubey kramaya awulak naa.

Man Ube social level gana idea nae eath reputed international school parents 90% Colombo schools walata giya katiya ae nisa amuthuwen socialite wenna deyak nae mata..man muladdi kiwe ekai if you could afford thts de best option tht you could give ur child..Our education system has stagnated for de past 40yrs so no point feeding ur child with worthless shit ..

as I said befor try to send ur kid to a reputed international school which would give ur kid sound academic backing n abt extracurricular activities I could refer to my son who’s studying at gateway he’s still in year 1 for him there are classes for dancing,music,karate,swimming n basketball without any added cost. Wht ur saying abt Cambridge or edexcel exams fee is true n it’s n tht obvious those two bodies are truly global benchmarks so obviously we have to pay for those exams thts why I said first if you could afford then thts de best option n I don’t think any parent who sent their kid to international school would want their kid to end up in a gov uni ..so all ur logic is non relevant machan

Specially if your kid is really smart and wants to be a doctor, hope you can afford to send him to study medicine in a university in a reputed country like Australia/UK and not a cheap place like Bangladesh or Russia. By sending him to an international school you are taking away his birth right in entering government universities which are much highly ranked than these degree shops.

Sri Lanka shouldn't be considered a developing country then. If all the parents of International schools kids can dish out 100,000 aud per year (Average medicine tuition fee per year in aus) for their kids to study overseas.

No every student doesn't have to medicine. But what if your kid wants to do medicine when he finish school. Are you going to send him to a cheap uni in Bangladesh? You should be prepared for all situations.

Haven't thought about it......UK sounds like a better choice...but guess what? Students doing london a-levels apparently can't become doctors in SL!

Machan ur statements r contradictory coz first u said tht we should send our kids to gov schools n save money n then we should send them abroad for higher studies nw ur saying something els n I’m keep on saying tht if you could afford only then send ur kid to a int school ..I’m not asking everyone to send their kids to int schools n it’s really funny when ur talking abt birthright do gov uni deserve a birthright when they are laying at de bottom of rankings
