බොහොමයක් ටයර් නිෂ්පාදකයෝ ටයර් නිෂ්පාදනයෙන් අනතුරුව කොලිටි චෙක් එකක් කරනවා යන්ත්‍රානුසාරයෙන්.

මේ දෙකේ වෙන්නේ ටයර් එකේ ගුණාත්මක බාවය පිළිබද මාර්ක් එකක්. ගන්න කෙනාට

මේ උඩ තියෙන්නේ ෆුල් dot කියන අවස්ථාව. මේකේ රතු පාට කහ පාට දෙකම සම්පුර්ණ රවුමක් ලෙස තමා ප්‍රින්ට් වෙලා තියෙන්නේ. මේකෙන් කියන්නේ ටයර් එක කොලිටි හොදින් පාස්.....

එතකොට කොලිටි ෆේල් තව 100% නිවැරදි නැති ඒවා හොයාගන්නේ කොහොමද.
මේ රවුම් දෙකේ බාගෙට, එහෙම නැත්තන් වළල්ලක් වගේ ප්‍රින්ට් වෙලා තියෙන ඒවා තමා ඉතා නිවැරදි නොවන, නමුත් පාවිච්චියට ගන්න පුළුවන් ඒවා. ඒවා යෙ ගස්සිලි වැඩියි, පැත්ත ගෙවෙන්න තියන ඉඩ වැඩියි. සමානව නැතිව ගෙවෙන අවස්ථා වැඩියි. නමුත් ඕක 100% මනින බෑ ටයර් 100% නිවැරදි කන්ඩිෂන් දුවන්නේ නැති නිසා. නමුත් dot දෙකම හොද ටයර් වල කල් පැවැත්ම වගේම සුව පහසුව වැඩිය්.

මේ පින්තුරේ රෝදේ කහ පාට බාගෙට තමා ඇවිල්ල තියෙන්නේ. ඒ කියන්නේ ටයර් එක ඉතා නිවැරදි මට්ටමේ නෑ කියන එක

කහ පාට රවුම සම්පුර්ණ නැති ටයර් වලට වීල් බැලන්ස් කරන්න වැඩිපුර ස්ටිකර් වෙට් ඕනා වෙනවා. ඒ කියන්නේ රෝදේ බැලන්ස් නෑ කියන එක.
රතුපාට එකේ වැඩ දෙකක් වෙනවා. ප්‍රදානම එක තමා ස්ටීල් හරි කැන්වස් හරි බෙල්ට් එක ජෝඉන්ට් එක එන තැන. එහෙම නැති නම් ටයර් එක බෙක් කරන එකක් නිසා රවුම 100% රවුම් වෙන්නේ නෑ. එහෙම වැඩිම තැන. එතන සමහර හොද වීල් වල නම් වීල් එකේ dot එකක් එනවා. එතනට සෙට් කලොත් ගස්සිලි පැද්දිලි අඩුවෙනවා..... සමහර වීල් වල එතන සෙට් වෙන්නේ හුලන් ගහන වැල් එක තියන තැනට. මේක නම් 99% තැන් වල ලංකාවේ කෙරෙන්නෙම නෑ..........


එතකොට බොහෝ නිෂ්පාදකයෝ OK කියලා රවුමකුත් ගහනවා. එක ගහලා නැති ඒවා කොලිටි ෆේල්. නමුත් එක මැකෙනවා බොහෝ අවස්ථාවල. ගහපු නැති ඒවාත් බොහොමයි. ඒ නිසා එක හොයන්න අමාරුයි. එතකොට හොදම ඒවා ඕනා නම් කරන්න තියෙන්නේ dot දෙකම FULL ඒවා හොයාගන්න එක.

ඉතින් මේ ටික ලංකාවේ බොහෝ දෙනා බලන්නෙත් නෑ.... ටයර් වල වයස බලන ක්‍රමේ මම කියන්නේ නෑ මේකේ ගොඩක් පොස්ට් ගියා. නමුත් මේ dot දෙක ගැන තිබ්බෙම නැද්ද කොහෙද......

Are you sure about this?. AFAIK these dots are for the tyre installers. The red dot signifies the max of the radial force and the other colour or just a circle is the static balance point. The static balance point is usually placed just near the valve to get the best initial balance. Please check.

It doesn't say quality is fail. These marks are placed to areas where tire has higher or lower weight. Tire manufacturer does this to as a help for balance tire when fixing to vehicle.

The technician is then supposed to line up this yellow dot to where the valve stem is located. Where the valve stem is located is the heaviest point of the wheel. By aligning the lightest spot on the tire with the heaviest point on the wheel, the tire/wheel balance is as close to optimal as can be. As such, you won't be using as many lead weights around the wheel to balance out the tire and wheel. Using fewer weights means you get a more balanced wheel, which then means a quieter, more comfortable ride, and a longer-lasting tire. All these add up to significant savings for the user.

The Red Dot​

In the same way tires are never perfectly balanced from the manufacturer, tires are never perfectly round, either, even when new. They have high and low points because of where the belts are joined, and these points can cause vibrations when a tire is rolling. The red dot indicates the tire's high point. Most of the time, a wheel will also have a dot—either a drilled dot or a sticker to indicate its low point. If you have these marks, you should align the red dot with the mark on the wheel. By doing this, you minimize the vibration caused by the high point of the tire. Minimized vibration is a good thing and ultimately also saves you money.

Red over Yellow​

Now, if you have both red and yellow dots on your tire and you don't have any dots or marks on your wheel, red takes precedence over yellow and you should align the red dot with the valve stem. Canceling out the high point takes precedence over the lightest point of the tire, which can be addressed with wheel weights.

It's a bit confusing... I thought you are referencing to the quality of the tyre. When it's too long to read I only just glance through.
It's the Yellow dot that goes in line with the valve unless both dots are there, then the red takes precedence. Otherwise what you wrote is right but rather presented to create another interpretation because of the Quality Pass/Fail sentence.

i didnt said half dont are not safe or should not use.
This is something like, there are 3 dates printed on foods in some countries. ie. manufactured date, safe to eat till date and best quality and taste date. (not exact matching scenario, but good example.

it says good tyres should have full dot.

Because I wanted to know the truth of this. Most of the tires I bought had these dots and never paid attention to it. I did not believe it had anything to do with quality check + I saw some comments that led me to find out more about this. Thanks for the info. btw

Ok please pay attention on following fact also.

all of these were explained on full dot and place where it marked. not mentioned on difference between half dot/ ring state vs full state....
Then you will find 100% of this.

FYI - high quality and long lasting tyres selected when manufacturing date is 6 month old plus both full dots. thats how manufactores select good quality long lasting tyres. (6 month because, newest tyres are smooth but wear and tear very fast. when it paased 6 months it hardens little bit to optimum level. but if doesnt mean after 5 year tyre is harden and very good to use. after 5 yr life is over)
