realistically what you say makes NO sense, if you paid via Sampath Bank, they use there last TT selling rate for the day+commision, if you want ask sampath directly, it's Sampath's Rate+visa currency conversion charges+and if any commision or etc. I paid for two three items, and all of them were charged at 390. Anyway we will see the real scenario tomorrow. even the 349 official rate given by google is from finance, currency exchange real time sites still show 359.XX

I don't know what the heck it's supposed to happen realistically. All I know is that I bought some stufd worth $11.85 from aliexpress just now using my sampath bank debit card, and got charged like 4287. That's around Rs. 361 per dollar. Check the screenshots, times, values etc. I didn't blur anything.

see my screenshots too, I had selected USD as my currency, and purchased it via my sampath debit card, maybe I should have a word with Sampath Bank, and ask them two similar transactions, transacted on the same website, with two different values? *perhaps you had selected LKR, and maybe they have a different rate for LKR? but what I know is that, if I check my Wishwa, it says USD .95 charged. so technically a $ is still 365 *as per sampaths TT selling rate, plus mastercard/visa charges+sampath commision if any (21 rupees more has been charged).

Not really sure what’s happening, but I did the same transaction using ali express selected usd as my currency and transacted using that, anyway you were charged 361 realistically with no conversion charges as it’s directly billed in LKR, don’t know exactly, anyhow what I know that is in my transaction I had selected usd paid .95 and got cut 367, which is technically 386 per usd, official TT selling rate plus. Your transaction even with 2.5 Commision does not get added to the 361 equation.
