The Sri Lanka Central Bank (CBSL) has instructed all licenced commercial banks to use Rs. 360 per USD as the middle spot exchange rate on interbank transactions for today, the 13th of May 2022.

The bank said the variation margin has been set at LKR 2.60 +/- on the middle spot exchange rate.

Rates applicable for other currency transactions are to be also derived based on the above rate, the bank advised. (NewsWire)

ඒ වගේම එයාලා ඒ මැද අගය උපරිමයට අඩු හෝ වැඩි කල හැකි අගයක් (variation margin) දෙනවා. එතකොට බැංකුවලට ඒ මැද අගයට ඊට වඩා වැඩි ගණනක් එකතු කරන්න හෝ අඩු කරන්න බෑ.

උදාහරණයක් විදීහට අද දවසේ උපරිම ඩොලර් එකේ අගය:

රු. 360 (middle spot exchange rate) + රු. 2.60 (variation margin) = රු. 362.60

අනිත් විදේශ විනිමයනුත් (උද: GBP) මේ USD/LKR අගයන් බේස් කරන් ගණනය වෙන්න ඕන.

මහ බැංකුවෙන් කියලා තියෙනවා fees හෝ commission එක එම අදාල ගනුදෙනුවේ රුපියල් වටිනාකමෙන් 3% නොඉක්ම විය යුතුයි කියලා.

ඒ වගේම ඊට කලින් දවසෙ middle spot exchange rate බැංකු අතර හැසිරුනු ආකරය අනුව ඊලග දවසට මහ බැංකුව අලුත් middle spot exchange rate එකක් නිකුත් කරනවා.

සියලු සියලුම බලපත්‍ර ලාහි වානිජ්‍ය බැංකු මේ උපදෙස් පිලිපැදීම අනිවාර්යයි.
