නැවකට මම නැගලා තියෙනවා වරායේ නතර කරලා තියෙද්දි.

වෙනසක් දැනුනේ නෑ. බිල්ඩිමක් ඇතුලේ වගේමයි හෙල්ලුනේවත් නෑනෙ.

මම ගියා පොත් නැවට. අවුරුදු 10 කට විටහ්‍ර කලින් ගාල්ලෙ වරායට ආවෙ. ඒකට විතරයි තාම ගිහින් තියෙන්නෙ. cruise එකක් යන්න ඕන.

Join one.. I have done two - one in the Alsakan waters, and another in the tropics each was around 10 days. There are things to do and you can easily spend time.
There's plenty of entertainment - movies, stage shows, magicians, comedians and others (they get down artistes by helicopter in mid sea), sports activities, Bingo and Trivia about twice or thrice a day. On one our team won the Trivia finals. There were a bunch of young ones who took me into their team because I know a lot of odd stuff that they wouldn't have a clue. But their knowledge is pretty good at songs, actresses, movies etc. So the combined effort works.
Even though I was bit hesitant to go on the first one (my wife booked it) it turned out that it's not really boring as I thought. The onboard entertainment itself is very good value. So is the food which is included. Either join the Buffet, or order a-la-carte as long as the restaurants are open.

On both these I couldn't find a single SriLankan passenger. Also they look after the kids upto the age of 16 or so, full time. Kids are grouped according to the age, and there are whole lot of girls who look after them till 10PM. You hand then over in the morning and that's it. They have their age based own fun activities, from gaming consoles to other team sports etc.
There are a lot of old people who never get off the ship at stops. They are repeat passengers who just enjoy the life on the cruise liner reading a book.

Also once you take a cruise, you get personalised special offers at a much lower rate. These days thanks to Covid the industry nearly went bust.
