I do not know whether it is illegal. There is fairly new legislation on computer related offences and it may cover. But I am certain that this is a civil wrong and it is called piggy back. You cannot use an intellectual property belonging to another without authorization expressly obtained. You may put a link to the web but that is also for fair use only. So in short you are liable for civil action and may have to pay damages. You may seek their permission and obtain it expressly . Apart from this as I said earlier it may also be an offence
