ඩියුගොං මස්ද ඔය මුහුදු ඌර කියලා විකුනන්නෙ

ඔව් ඌ තමයි.. ඌ නෑ දැන් වදවෙලා පහල මුහුදු වල නම් කොහොමවත් නැති තරම්, ඉන්නේ හලාවතින් උඩ ලයින්1 නම් ඉන්නවා. හදිසියෙන් තමයි ඇත්ත බඩු හම්බෙන්නේ.. ඩොල්ෆින් තමා දෙන්නේ මූදූරා කියලා....

I believe they are Dugongs. There are the Dugongs, Manatees and the sea-cows. Dugongs never leave the sea water. Manatees both sea and fresh. Sadly the sea-cow has been harvested to extinction.

I have seen they sell even large "Maduwa" fish as "මුහුදු ඌර". These Maduwas can grow upto huge sizes. If you can't identify it they will invent names.

There is high chance to get cheated by fishermens if someone can't identify their fish, it happens mostly with tuna(බලයා vs කෙලවල්ලා)
i was a regular visiter to the mirissa Fisheries harbour, i have seen how big those ray fish can grow.
