the problem is people seem to perceive death not as the sweet end of the string of shit we are given with from the start, but as a horrifying end to this meaningless existence.

death is limitless possibilities... weightlessness..you can probably float like light feathers in the soft breeze..see things our mortal minds could never conceive..when it comes tapping on your door, you should welcome it in with open arms. :P

Words, can be used to describe anything :P:P Death isn't sweet as that as you'd be expecting

You probably haven't had any of your very close, loved person passed away :) so you aren't qualified to talk about it until you have felt that feeling bro..I know that feeling really well :dull: My brother passed away unfortunately, four years back, and that left me with a big empty space in my life. I'm still recovering from it :)

You know, the reason why people cry or grief over someone's death, is not really because that person died :dull: It's because of the memories that person leave with us, and knowing that person will be no longer there with us. :dull: So actually, we cry for ourselves, not for the one who died.

Yeah bro I can understand that's why I said I would be the same if happend.I have encounted some close one but not in my own family. But still we should be happy for the person right. At the end we are not enlightened so we cling to memories still. You aren't the one who's brother met with highway accident by any means right?

:no::frown::dull: I haven't :P But I'm sure it wouldn't be :P Most of us haven't reached that level of mentality to greet and welcome the death as a friend :) Don't know about u though :P

you have based that entirely upon that false certainty :)

Death is not sweet because you will then have to leave your loved ones? things you've accumulated over the years?

You don't remember that? Anyways, some neighbour guy has electrocuted his ass :lol:

    lol no..I probably wasn't there

somebody you will realize this for yourself :)

I don't think I've realized that in any sense of religion :P

I only looked at death in the context it were to be my death

Apart from the attachments, I don't think we should mourn ones passing. But sadly we all are too human to be that cold hearted right? I always felt sort of bittersweet at funerals..the way you feel at the end of a good book.

YYou may not reffering to any religion. But seing the things you have posted it seems you have intellectually realized the existence.Which is in yoga you call your energies has reached the 3rd eye opening.

I was not talking about having to leave all the things we've gathered here :dull: But may be it's the reason at the end. :dull::yes:

Anyways, Death will be a sweet thing for the man who has nothing to worry about in life at the end. :) If you're sure that you won't get anything to your mind in your last minute, you're sure to have a sweet death.

And as ordinary people, I say, it's something that's not going to happen for most of us :) We're not mentally developed enough to give up everything. It's not that easy.

Wow you are a realized being bro:cool:I always wondered about the sad faces of people at funerals,Isn't it the most relief existence for the dead one.I know I would not talk like this if my parents died. But still it should not be a sad moment. It is the best thing than can happen to a someone.

English speaking people find death to be sweet...
