Thats true.. but many are like that due to sociel pressure. If you allow her to be free and do what she like most likely she will return you the same favor

I am not very sure how to prevent social pressure living in sri lanka. may be if you could migrate to some other country that's possible. it's not neccassarily the pressure per se. Lot to do with how sri lankan women are brought up. though they have mature bodies most are childish in nature very immature.
like you said no argument about giving freedom in a relationship. that's a must. but whether she would blossom or not depends on the individual. Lankawe kellonta swadeenawa decision ganna baha bun. ekata puruddak naha. that's an issue with the upbringing.

Some things can be changed during a course of a relationship. But as you said upbringing is also important. In my case i knew this girl from the age of 5 (we were in the same class in grade 1 ) and she has got more influnce from me than her parents
