last time lankawe iddi magen 1 million tax kapuna 3 mil bonus eken (Software architect), Now I'm no longer in Sri Lanka. We still pay taxes here but at least we're getting benefits for what we pay unlike SL.

ඒ කියන්නේ ලබන මාසේ පඩියන් කපනවා. වියදම් කරද්දී ගානක් අයින් කරන්න වෙනවා..

We cannot match other counties Tax rates and benefits with SL where is nothing . Even though Australia rate 49% New Zealand rate 39% they give back fullest benefits to citizens. Basically there is Law and order, kind of discipline, rule of law of the country. Apart from that they given full benefits for infants, students, non working people.
In our country nothing. Even law and order, rule of law is a nightmare.
Samurdhi or Aswasuma just to keep their Vote base or to bring people to Party Rally.

Now there is repercussions to expand Tax free threshold by 2024 Jan. May be 18 Lak per year or more and 36% max rate reduction. If pressure is arising more they will do something unless nothing.
If Working people who are victims of unfair tax cut from their employment income will arise there will be some consequences.
