"Since we were all originated from the sea, I believe that humans have an intrinsic desire a return fascination"
"Scientists predict that at the current rate of destruction by 2050 we will have lost 80% of natural reefs. I hope my work emphasizes this hypothesis true and creepy. "
"You can use the sculpture to convey hope to inspire people to consider their interactions with the natural world and then build a sustainable future."
"The experience of being underwater is completely different than being on land. Underwater objects are 25% larger and consequently also perceived closer. The colors are altered with increasing depth and as it absorb and reflect light at different levels. The light source is located under water in the surface, this kaleidoscopic effects governed by the movement of water, currents and turbulence. Water is a malleable medium to travel through it, allowing the viewer to be an active participant with the works underwater. The sculptures can be seen from very different angles and perspectives and this dramatically increases the genuine experience of finding the pieces. "
