if ur living in Colombo so buy Nissan leaf 70km+ range (around 50/ 60 lak) + grid connected 5Kw+ solar system (around 20 lak ). then u can drive 1500Km -2500km monthly without any fuel cost.

disadvantages
1. cant go long rides
2. most suitable as a second vehicle
3 . most probably will have to replace the battery 2/3 years later ( cost approx 3m)

advantages
1. No fuel que
2 zero fuel cost+ electricity+ gas after an initial investment

mm if u replace 40KW battery then u can run 250+Km with 1 charge, 60KW > 375+ km ( new batteries lifespan is 8+ years ).
in addition to that, if u have grid tie solar, most probably u cant run 200,000+km without cost with new battery

yes, this is the 2014 leaf. 2 years back in 2018 new leaf was 60-70 lak. but now if u import new leaf u will cost 180lak.
