Many countries do NOT include the Profession in their passports. In case of a flight medical emergency they call for a doctor or even a nurse. They won't check your credentials or your passport to verify that you are doctor.
Most commercial airlines now have AED on board and at least one of their staff trained to use it.
There's a grey area here because there's an ethical responsibility for a health professional to help, but there can be legal consequences. AFAIK, the laws of the country where the Airline is registered applies. Some countries do have a good Samaritan law that covers. This ensures that people who step forward to provide emergency medical assistance are not held legally liable for their actions, provided they acted in good faith.

It's not under the profession section and there is no profession section in the British Passport. It's the title that define you as a doctor. No one could gives two shits about the profession but Sri Lankans are all about the profession
