    සංවාදයට විවෘතයි

    ලංකාවේ ලොකුම දූපත තලෙයිමන්නාරම (මන්නාරම දුපත) කියලා තමයි කියන්නේ. දැනුම මිනුම පොත් වල තියෙන්නෙත් එහෙමයි. තරග වල උත්තරය උනෙත් ඒක.

    නමුත් ශ්‍රි ලංකාව කියන්නේ දූපත් රටක් නිසා, ශ්‍රි ලංකාවේ ලොකුම දුපත වෙන්න ඕනා කොලඹ දකුන උඩරට ඔය ඔක්කොම තියන ප්‍රධාන භුමිය නේද?

    The main island is SriLanka. But there are many small islands that belong to SriLanka, out of which Mannar is the largest.

    No Australia is not an island. It's a continental land mass. But the Great Britain is an island.

    whatever you call it. (continent , county ) naturally islands are islands. nature has no borders

    here is the definition of an island

    1. a piece of land surrounded by water

    2. a thing resembling an island, especially in being isolated, detached, or surrounded in some way

    You are partially correct.. According to Britainicca - an island is a mass of land that is both “entirely surrounded by water” and also “smaller than a continent.” By that definition, Australia can’t be an island because it’s already a continent.

    do you know what makes me laugh. i have seen people posting border crossing videos on youtube keeping 1 leg in 1 country and another in a different country. i dont understand what kind of excitement these people get from it :D nature has no borders. it looks more funny when the bordering place looks similar to the country you're staying.. example :- trees , animals , weather , etc
