අපි ඉගෙනගන්න කොට ඔය උසස් පෙලට තාක්ෂණ විශය ධාරාවක් ආවේ නෑ. දැන් ඒක තියෙනවා. මීට කලින් O/L වලටත් ආවා.

පොඩිකාලේ ඉඳලා උගන්නලා, ඕලෙවල් වලට එක කඩඉමක් තියලා ඒ ලෙවල් වල තාක්ශණික විශය ධාරාවේ විශයක් විදිහට තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය දැම්මා නම් cycle එක complete.

IT වල තියෙන theory එක බොහෝ වෙලාවට ගණිතයට සමානයි. algorithms, data structures වගේ දේවල්. Maths පුලුවන් නම් අල්ලාගන්න කිසිම ගේමක් නෑ. Networking හා hardware වලට නම් physics දැනුමත් ටිකක් ඕන වෙනවා.

අනිත් හැම දේම practical applications මත රැඳෙන්නේ, ඉතින් ඉක්මනින්ම වෙනස් වෙන හැම technology එකක් ගැනම practice එකක් දෙන එක නැති හින්දා මූලික පාදම පාසල් මට්ටමෙන් දාලා ඒක උඩ අනිත් දේවල් හදාගන්න ළමයාට අවස්ථාව ඉඩදෙමු. මොකද අද තියෙන තාක්ෂණය නෙවෙයි හෙට තියෙනේ. මේ ප්‍රශ්නේ උපාධි පාඨමාලා වලටත් තියෙනවා. ඒක නිසා ස්වයං අධ්‍යයනයට මග පාදගන්න දැනුමක් දුන්නා නම් හරි.

අනාගත ලෝකයකට අවශ්‍ය වෙන සමාන්ය IT දැනුම මුල ඉඳලම දීලා O/L වලින් පස්සේ IT කියන එක වෙනම විෂයක් විදිහට උගන්නනවා නම් ඒක තමයි හොඳම ක්‍රමය. ඒක නිසා දැන් තියෙන අධ්‍යාපනයට ලොකු change එකක් අවශ්‍ය වෙන එකක් නෑ

Mathematics, and science is the base for the IT, it is more than enough to learn Maths,science and other subjects in schools , little bit of IT is ok for A/l to get to know what is IT,

If you know Maths and science and also if you love to study IT are more than enough to learn IT in university level , most of people get stuck in universities because of they don't love IT, LOVE what you do

Mathematics, and science is the base for the IT, it is more than enough to learn Maths,science and other subjects in schools , little bit of IT is ok for A/l to get to know what is IT,

If you know Maths and science and also if you love to study IT are more than enough to learn IT in university level , most of people get stuck in universities because of they don't love IT, LOVE what you do

yes indeed !! The core for IT is maths, giving a basic IT education from kindergarten is essential but it should not be aiming future university education. IT is constantly changing. Even what we learn from the 1st year of university become obsolete when it comes to final years so how can we give students an IT education spanning 10-12 years.

I believe intensifying mathematical education from very young age, that may help students to pursuer IT, Engineering or Financial education in future
