වාහනයක් ගන්න කලින්...

එළකිරි එකේ ඉන්න වාහන කාපු අයියලාගෙන් දැනගැනීම පිණිස අසමි.

මම වාහනයක් ගන්න ඉන්නේ. හිත ගියපු වාහනයක් තෝරගෙන. ප්‍රශ්නේ මේකයි. මට company එකෙන් loan එක approve වෙන්න වාහනේ documents, valuation ඉදිරිපත් කරන්න ඕනේ. වැඩ ඔක්කොම ඉවර වෙලා loan එක එන්න සති දෙක තුනක් යයි.

ඒ නිසා වාහනේ owner ට advance එකක් (ලක්ෂයක් විතර) දෙන්න වෙනවා. නැත්තං මිනිහ වෙන කෙනෙක්ට දෙන්න ඉඩ තියෙනවනේ. මට තියෙන ප්‍රශ්නේ තමයි මෙහෙම advance එකක් දෙනකොට අනුගමනය කරන්න ඕනි හරි පිළිවෙල මොකද්ද කියන එක.

මම වාහනේ බලල ආවෙ අයිතිකාරයාගේ ගෙදරට ගිහින්. කිව්වත් වගේ account එකට සල්ලි දාල , NIC වාහනේ පොත එහෙම කොපියක් අරන් letter එකක් ගන්නවා. එතකොට හරිනේ.

40ක් 50ක් දුන්නොත් ඇති නේද advance එක විදිහට.

There are several points to be considered,

1. Make sure the seller is a reliable person. Reputed Car sales are safer I guess compared to personal importers.

2. Make sure your absolutely sure about da vehicle ur buying and u have test driven it. If this is the first vehicle ur buying go and check da vehicle with someone who has more automotive experience.

3. Write a letter saying that u (ur name, NIC, ur home address) are agreeing to buy this vehicle (make, model, engine no chassis no of ur vehicle) for a certain amount (total value of the vehicle) from so and so (name of seller, his NIC) who is residing at (address of seller) and u have paid a sum of Rs. 100000 as an advance on (date) and u will pay the remaining balance within (1-2 weeks) and complete da transaction.

4. Both seller and buyer should sign on 2 stamps. No need of a lawyer.
