ජීවිතඉන්ද්රිය රූපය කියන්නෙ මොකක්ද එතකොට
ජීවිත ඉන්ද්රිය කියන්නේ ජීවිතය පවත්වාගනීමට අවශ්ය වන ඉන්ද්රිය. ඕක ටිකක් දීර්ඝ විස්තරයක්. ඔය ජීවිත ඉන්ද්රියට අමතරව චක්ඛු ඉන්ද්රිය, සෝත ඉන්ද්රිය, ඝාන ඉන්ද්රිය, ජිව්හා ඉන්ද්රිය හා කාය ඉන්ද්රිය තියෙනවා. මේවා පිළිවෙලින් පෙනීම, ඇසීම, ගඳ සුවඳ, රසය හා කයට පහස ලබාදීමට අවශ්ය ඉන්ද්රියන්. මේ ගැන වැඩි විස්තරයක් තියෙන කෙනෙක් ඉන්නවනම් මෙතන දායි.

Well you are the one who isnt thinking deeply enough..
Ego itself is a product of chemistry...
We think ego is a special thing just because still there isnt much scientific explanation to it..
But it dosent mean ego is something paranormal...
Just look at crazy people..what happen to their ego?
people become totally different and have a totally different ego after head injuries...
What about people with multipal peesonality disorder? Do they have several egos?

බුදුදහමට අනුව මේ ශරීර වර්ග හතරක් තියෙනවා. ආහාරජ, කර්මජ, චිත්තජ , සෘතුජ කියලා. මේකෙ අපිට පේන, ඔය චෙමිඅ රෙ තියෙන එක තමයි අහාරජ කය කියන්නේ. ඒක තමයි කෑම වලින් ගොඩනැගිලා එන්නේ. යහපත් පැවැත්මකට ඔය කයවල් හතරම හොඳට වැඩ කරන්න ඕනේ. කර්මාඅණුකූලව එන කර්ම රෝග මුලුන්ම හැදෙන්නේ කර්මජ කයට. ඒක බාහිරට පේන්නේ නෑ. කාලයක් යන කොට මේ කර්මජ කයට හැදුනු රෝගය ආහාරජ කයට එනවා. අපි රෝගයක් කියලා හඳුනාගන්නේ මේ ආකාරයට මේ ලෙඩේ ආහාරජ කයේ ඉස්මතු වුනාම. ඔය විදියට සෘතු අනුව වෙනස් වන හා සිතිවිලි අනුව වෙනස් වන චිත්තජ කය කියන මේ ඔක්කොම කයවල් මිනිසාගේ ක්රියාකාරීත්වයට බලපානවා.
If it's all chemistry, doesn't that imply when given the set of equations that governs the behavior of chemicals, every event in future can be predicted i.e brain including all it's thoughts are deterministic ?

We can say Universe is deterministic only if we can solve the uncertian nature of quantum particles..

Anyway that was not what I tried to say. Have you heard about Godel's incompleteness theorem which says arithmetic is incomplete ?
If human brain is fully deterministic, doesn't that imply we can prove the consistency of arithmetics which violates Gödel's second incompleteness theorem ?

ඔප්පු කරන්න බැරි උනත් මට නම් හිතෙන්නේ (2) තමයි කියල. මොකද අපි පරිනාමයේ ප්රතිපලයක්. අපි තවත් එක සත්වයෙක් විතරයි. හැම සතෙකුටම අපිට දනේනන් හැගීම් තියෙනව. අපේ ශරීරයේ මනස ඇතුළු සෑම දෙයක්ම හැදිලා තියෙන්නේ අපේ පැවැත්ම වෙනුවෙන්. ජීවත්වෙන කාලය තුල ජීවය පවත්වාගන්න. උදාහරණයක් විදියට අපි ඉස්සරහට අලියෙක් අවොත් අපේ මනස තුල "බය" ඇති වෙනවා. ඒ තුලින් වහාම ගැලවෙන්න ක්රියාමාර්ගයක් ගන්නවා.

Brain could be indeterministic if quantum particles are probabailistic in the behaviour ( current understanding )
Only could be...
Brian could even be deterministic even with current understanding of quantum physics being true.
So...
But there's no way elementary particles could handle thoughts. Brain must work in a level higher than that of elementary particles. Suppose it's really elementary particles that handles our thoughts. Then what prevents us from being completely random ? We are deterministic to some extent. It's evident given the way we react in our day to day life. There's no way elementary particles could have done that. So my conclusion is there must be something above elementary particles that prevents us from being fully random and something below completely determinism.
Why not?
Think if 10^large number of particles handle a single thought... how complex can it be.. evolution makes them behaviour in an order...
Recent scientific studies how that we actually dont havr a free will.. its a good indication thats its all just particles..

Load Buddha taught, current understanding about everything around us is wrong. Thru practicing අනිච්ච සංඥා, we can see the reality as per Buddhism.
I'm not saying this is right and this is wrong here. That depends on what we are going to achieve.
