I guess there is a lot to learn.
I guess there are lot to talk about MR. Whatever said and done, I don't like the way he does his politics. Nonetheless, I admire him for completing the national struggle with LTTE. That is the only plus I have for him. IMO, he is another failed politician in SL political history. I strongly believe that he survived in his presidential career because during his tenure SL won the war. I also believe this win is a collective success. MR was very lucky to win the war and every aspect supported him in comparison to previous leaders.
SF may be a strong military leader, but does it mean he could be a successful political leader. I think, this is a tough one to answer. Globally, there are many military men who became political leaders showed success and some didn’t.
I don’t know if I’m right with this, but, as a corrupted nation we are in need of stringent laws in place similar to Saudi Arabia. Therefore, today we are in need of a leader who could steer at helm to develop the country and the nation. We as a nation lack a true leader, but not the resources. We have them in plenty.
