Bringing signs of a new era in the Sri Lankan music industry he entered the industry with a different blend of music. He is a rare combination of an award winning singer, composer and a music director.
His journey began with the 2005 chart topping hit song, ‘Namal Mitak’ sung by Randhir Withana. It took Sri Lanka by storm simply because it was different to the blend of music Sri Lanka was used to.
His identity as one of the youngest, talented music director to enter the industry created. Sri Lankan fans found a new hope to take the Sri Lankan music industry to a whole new level with his arrival.
Sachith was found and groomed by none other than the veterans of the new era of Sri Lankan music, Bathiya and Santhush. Sachith joined SaReGaMa Productions in 2005 as an Assistant Audio Engineer. In a short period of time he was able to become the CEO of SaReGaMa Productions and made it the number one music productions house in the country.
To expand his wings he opened up the latest production house named “FIVE FROGS ENTERTAINMENT(PVT)LTD” in 2010. It is equipped with the latest equipments in Sri Lanka to produce the best quality music and video.
In his career as a singer and a music producer, he has worked with many veterans in the industry including BnS, Rohana Baddage,Upali Kannangara, Rookantha Gunathilake Iraj Weerarathne, Samitha Mudunkotuwa, Nirosha Virajini, Wasantha Dukgannarala, Ashanthi De Alwis, Randheer Withana, Umara and Umaria Sinhawansa, etc.. He has also had the privilege of working closely with Hariharan, a reputed Indian musician.
Among his projects, “Jathika Govi Geethaya” written by Wasantha Dukgannarala and sung by several senior artists such as BnS, Iraj Weerarathne, Nirosha Virajini, Athula Adhikari,Rohana Baddage,Wasantha Dukgannarala and Gayantha along with Sachith.
The song became very popular as it recognised the heart beat of most Sri Lankans.
Sachith’s fans recognised him as a singer with the mega hit song, ‘Rung rung gaga’ which gave him a whole new identity. ‘Rung rung gaga’ has managed to stay a tune hummed by thousands of Sri Lankan fans to date.

Currently working on his Tamil album to be released in India along with new video of ‘Remix song’ filmed at AVM studio Chennai.
Sachith stepped in to the movie music industry with ‘Kaluwara Assen Hiru Eido’, a famous song from the popular movie ‘Dancing Stars’ which he both sang and produced. ‘Das Piyan’ from the same movie was also sung by him.
He also produced music of hit movies ‘Asai Man Piyabanna ’, ‘Rosa Kale’, ‘Julia’, ‘Dancing Stars’ and ‘Feel my love’ along with BnS. The background scores of ‘Rosa Kale’ and ‘Dancing Stars’, were also produced by him.
