People of many non cricketing nations got attracted to cricket because of IPL. It also increased the overall equality of cricket immensely..
It's not indias fault that we have an incompetent team and shitty politics surrounding it.

Not a case with "OUR" cricket. India needed more money. ICC needed more money. So they planned round robin! Decreased number of teams to 10 to play it in the round robin. To give India more matches. Now we cannot see the famous upsets of Zimbabwe and Ireland.
Fixing pitches in favour of India. (How many green tracks India got in this WC??) Today also no swing. But earlier match there was more swing and bounce on the pitch. Are you still blind with your Indian FANDOM?

ofcourse its money oriented,,, everyone is money oriented! there is no argument in that... teams like Zimbabwe playing more cricket , more quality cricekt with the teams which suits their level the best,,, but with much higher standerd than before. And that higher standerd is a indirect result of IPL,more money ...etc...
just as an example, not so long ago Sri lankan national players played with binded bats,,, they couldnt even afford a bat..!.But now a days they carry more than dozens of bats,,, But the fact that they aren't being good compared to other teams is another story...

I think we need to scatter the infrastructure and facilities for Cricket island wide. Even now those facilities circulated around Colombo.
I think we need a international play ground per a province. Especially, in Jaffna and Batticalo. Then we may find good talents among Tamils and Muslims as well and they will (may be) stop supporting for India and Pakistan since they have ability to achieve national level. Just a guess.
Anyway, if we have province level cricket board without idiotic club structure , hope we can find more talents. Even cricket fandom is higher there are no facilities in rural areas to play.
Moreover, we need to digitize our practicing methods and tactics. May be need a different IT team to handle that part. I think most of the other countries now heavily supported by latest technologies what we don't have.
Finally, I say whole country should be digitized if we want to be saved. Otherwise, we are going back to history and be isolated as tribal people.
