I think now everyone knows we are trying to make a change using tricks. saying he is injured will not gonna work and will have to go through an icc test.
Still i feel pressure and the panic then the faliure of no 6,7,8 genarated through the slow and selfish batting. But we really cant call them selfish if thats what management want them to do but still you cant go that much slow.
Looking at thirimanne what we see is he is more concentrated on chu inning the gum than batting.
i see that he feels it is almost compulsory to leave few n play forward defensive shots to tell others he is an accumulator
he thinks it is a criminal case to hit a four of first ball or next few balls and only way to score his first run is drop and run
Other hand dimuth will look to hit a four but he is not so versatile and handicapped in no of shots he possess .Attacking shots n ability to make runs from no where or change the momentum. When sanga is not fluent dilshan goes after n vise versa when dilshan is struggling but if dilshan/ sanga struggles n its dimuth or thiri in the other end dili or sanga will not be able to get through Cause those two lacks that .
Now with dimuth n thiri we have no option but to play thisara as a genuine batter at 7 cause now no body expect anything fron his bowling but he is there to catch up those eaten up deliveries
I think we need to let chandimal bat at 5 n mathews at 6 no point of batting dimuth ahead of chandi n thisara when thirimanna already eaten up enough balls to make sure we wont have a good enough score
We should let chandi bat at no 4 in todays match n thisara 5
