ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණෙහි ශක්තිමත් ආසනයක්ව පැවති තිස්සමහාරාම ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාව එම පක්ෂය මෙවර පළාත් පාලන මැතිවරණයේදී පරාජයට පත්ව තිබේ.

ඡන්ද 14523 ක් ලබාගනිමින් එක්සත් ජනතා නිදහස් සන්ධානය මෙවර තිස්සමහාරාම ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවේ ජයග්‍රහණය හිමිකරගෙන ගැනීමට සමත්ව ඇත.

දෙවන ස්ථානයට පත්ව ඇති එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂය ඡන්ද 8344 ක් හිමිකරගෙන ඇති අතර ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණ හිමිව ඇත්තේ ඡන්ද 7767 ක් පමණි.
