I say ...If u want the best value card in Sri Lanka get the 7600GS...its around 9000 n has 512 onboard memory+caches from the ram as well....n on top of 8500GT......

But, too old now...

Though my card is faster, it's very old. Technology from 2004! Sucky...No ShaderModel 3...so not awesomeness in shader graphics in Crysis

I know that. But it is old! Technology from 2006.

I'd only enjoy Crysis on a 9800GTX

Even if its old it is a better performer than the new 8500GT which is like 4 or 5 k more.......But a 7600GT will walk over both those cards......

n it will cost a fortune to get a 9800GTX ....damn in SL don't know what the price will be like......

3870X2 is actually running in Crossfire mode, so you need the proper driver support and game support for it to show any speed boost over the signal "card" counterpart (3870)

TBH, even the 8800GT is too "old" for me...If you can't play at least one current game at 30FPS, that sux! (talking about none other than Crysis )

I don't like multiple graphics card setups like SLI or Crossfire, because the performance is not always as expected. Sometimes they perform slower than the single card solution. Yuk!

I'd like if they graphics card manufacturers released new families more often, and with a significant performance improvement. I hate the idea of AMD calling their RV670 series as HD 3800. I hate the fact that upcoming 9800GTX won't be two times as fast as the 8800Ultra. (I read somewhere it will be 30% or faster, which is not so promising)

I just hope the 3870X2 and 9800GX2 will scale better than Crossfire or SLI.

9800GTX is still a bit far....the 9600's are coming in two months or so .

So the price is still in the 32k range right?? for the 8.8K'GT xD

No point buying a VGA from Sri Lanka. I'd rather pay for an air ticket + the price of the VGA and buy from some other country!
