Graphics card won't be used in most cases for normal operations.
But seems like the x1 is a better deal for the spec.

Adding iTB ssd cost extra $900. So better use portable SSD. I do not store stuffs in this hard anyway. only installed software and working files.

5lks is really expensive for that kind of specs. But it's thinkpad so normally those professionals laptops are really expensive.
I Bought hp omen 15 for 160k. Specs are similar to this but instead of 1050 it has 1060 6gb and 2tb hdd with 256 samsung m2 drive.
