I'm not pointing at any one In fact no one can stop someone from buying a newer car from their hard earned money than an older one. It's the safest thing but people always make different choices.

Ah, yes. Thing is newer vehicles in the same price bracket tick almost all boxes of potential buyers and has drool-worthy fuel economy too. If they prove to be reliable and free of gremlins like DCT, old 1500CC car owners like us would have a very hard time reselling our cars without incurring a loss

Yeah I had taken hits like that in the past so it's not a big concern. It's not an investment anyway. I'm also looking for a near brand new one next time but not a hatch/kei.

Noise alone wouldn't make it feel that bad

Gear box make some strange noise under load not the exhaust note I mean. I heard that too it's like a train approaching. Thought it's the turbo.


Honda CVTs are much better in acceleration compared to Toyota. Little less smooth though.

මගේ මේ requirements වලට set වෙන හොද වාහනයක් කියපන්කො​

1) මම පදිංචි පිලියන්දල.... වැඩ කරන්නේ වැල්ලවත්තේ. වයිෆරේ වැඩ බම්බලපිටියේ. හැමදාම ඉතින් 18km වගේ traffic එකේ තමා ගමන බිමන.
2) මගේ ගම මාතර, වයිෆරේ කුරුණෑගල. මාසෙකට සතියක්වත් මේ කොහේ හරි යැවෙනවා.
3) මමයි වයිෆරෙයි දෙන්නටම හොදට travel උණ තියෙනවා. සති අන්තේ ගෙදර ඉන්නේ නෑම තමයි. කොහේ හරි යනවා.
4) දැන් තියෙන්නේ ඇල්ටො පරණ එකක් ඒක සැප මදි වගේම තෙල් ගහලත් ඇති වගේ.
5) අතේ තියෙන්නේ ලක්ෂ 35 වගේ. 40ක් මොනවා හරි කර ගන්න පුලුවන්.
