Um... how ironic is that even with IMC, Phenom I or II can't beat Core 2's :-)lol:) memory latency.

    Ithin thawa mona kathaada? :P

Actualy Memory Performance is always better on AMD Phenoms than Core 2 line, and Phenom II is not Slower than the Core2, its faster than a Conroe and is a Mixed Bag with Penryn, AM3 will solve this issue tho because the DDR3 RAM will give Phenom II about a 5% boost and will be faster than Penryns, I think Phenom II is a Really good processor, Highly Ocable, Costs a nickle to upgrade if you already own a AM2+ board and even if you dont really good AM2+ board wont cost you more than 150$, and your high end cooler Definitely should have come with a Bracket for AM2+ Socket if ur switching from intel.

machan i'm looking forward for an Phenom II 920.it's a125W cpu and ma mobo
Asus M3N78-EMH HDMI only supports 95W cpus.but i read in forums that ppl use this mobo with 125W cpus.u think ma mobo could handle a Phenom II 920

Yes your board can handle a Phenom II, with a Bios patch, check out the Manufacturer site

That might be asking for trouble. If the mobo isn't certified for 125W CPUs it might blow.
But then again, it might not. :nerd:

I'm not the one who saying intel copied form AMD.It's in Tomshardware. An intel employee was caught in red handed while trying to steal AMD secrets.People believe he has given some data to intel before he was caught.beside check in wikipedia saying AMD.When you are reading the history of AMD you will realize Intel always try to put AMD behind even AMD was a part of them. What is meant cheap is you can buy Phenom II for $250,AMD 790fx chipset for $150 & cheap DDR2 ram.If you go for CORE I7 it will be $280,X58 chipset for $300 & expensive DDR3 ram.Now did you understand what is cheap????

I love both processors the intel core i7 is a cool processor......... but when it come to graphics i should say the AMD is leading the way but when we consider the heat on both processors i should say the AMD will rock if there is a very cool system... otherwise........
